All-Gender Cornering Clinic: Old Fort Gateway Trails
All-Gender Cornering Clinic: Do you get hung up, lose speed, or lose control in corners? Maybe you’d like to figure out how to carry more exit speed? This clinic takes a deep dive into the skills needed for flat corners, berms, and even off-camber turns.
We’ll cover the following skills: body position & weight distribution, braking, and line choice. We’ll start by separating each one out to introduce and practice by themselves before putting them back together. We’ll also investigate the skills of inclination (leaning), angulation (bike/body separation), and rotation and how to treat those like “dimmer switches” to turn up or down depending on the shape, size, and speed of each corner.
